Anti-discrimination cell

Academic Year 2025-26

• Objectives of the Cell:

1. This cell will look after the related matters (if any) of depriving a student / staff or group of students on the basis of caste, creed, language, ethnicity, gender, different ability.
2. This cell always try to uphold the dignity of the institution by addressing the concerns (if any) brought into the notice related to equality in offering or receiving education inside the campus.
3. This cell ensures conducive environment for academic growth of the people belonging to the university.
4. This cell protects the rights of individuals without any prejudice to their appearance or lifestyle in the process of learning inside the campus.

The Cell shall eliminate discrimination against or harassment of any individual in all forms by prohibiting it and by providing preventive and protective measures to facilitate its eradication and punishments for those who indulge in any form of discrimination or harassment.

Anti-ragging Committee

• Objectives:

• To absolutely prohibit ragging within or outside the college campus
• To prevent the occurrence of ragging by following anti ragging measures in the institution.
• To provide punishment to those indulging in ragging as per the guidelines.
• To sensitize students, staff and parents to adopt measures that will prevent ragging.

• Roles and Responsibilities

• To monitor and oversee the performance of the Anti-Ragging Squad in prevention of ragging in the college.
• During the first three months of an academic year, the Head of college shall submit a weekly report on the status of compliance with Anti-Ragging measures under UGC Regulations, and a monthly report on such status.
• The Anti-Ragging Committee of the college shall take an appropriate decision, with regard to punishment or otherwise, depending on the facts of each incident of ragging and nature and gravity of the incident of ragging.
• To prevent or to act promptly against the occurrence of ragging or any incident of ragging which comes to their notice.

Grievance Redressal Cell

GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL COMMITTEE

Academic Year 2024-25

AICTE Notification No: PG/07/OLl/2012, Grievance Redressal Committee is constituted in the college for the academic year 2023-2024 with the objective of resolving the of grievance of the students and parents and others, online grievance form is available on college website. Members of Committee are as follows.

• Mechanism of Grievance Redressal Cell

 1] Considering broadly, grievances may be of two types,

1. i) Academic: related to attendance, charging of fees, assessment, conduct of examination, syllabus completion, teaching methodologies etc.
2. ii) Non-academic: harassment by colleague, peer pressure, classroom management, facilities available and its utilization etc.

2] It has been decided to keep grievance redressal box in front of administrative office.

3] The grievance redressal box is opened every month to collect and resolve the complaints. The complaints may be written or communicated through online portal.

4] The complainants shall be summoned to hear the complaints if required.

5] After hearing the complaints the committee shall take appropriate and amicable decision and subsequently the decision is communicated to complainant.

6] If the complainant is not satisfied with the decision of the committee, then complainant can make appeal before the chairman of management.

7] All the decisions taken by the committee will be rational and amicable to resolve the complaints of the aggrieved.

 8] If the complaint is of serious nature and beyond the ambit of the committee then decision will be taken to forward the complaints before the competent authority.

SC/ST Cell

SC/ST CELL

Academic year 2024-25

As Per the requirement of AICTE regarding formation of SC/ST Committee at our institute.

The constituted committee for SC/ST cell as follows,

The SC/ST cell will monitor and endeavor to resolve issues/grievances relating to SC/ST students and staff at the institute level. The complaint if any will be forwarded to said cell by the principal. The cell will look in to the complaint and call the complainant personally for hearing the grievance.

The coordinator of cell will forward their report in the sealed envelope to the principal within one week from the date of the receipt of complaint.

OBC Cell

As Per the requirement of AICTE regarding formation of OBC Committee at our institute.

The constituted committee for OBC as follows,

The OBC cell will monitor and endeavor to resolve issues/grievances relating to OBC students and staff at the institute level. The complaint if any will be forwarded to said cell by the principal. The cell will look in to the complaint and call the complainant personally for hearing the grievance.

The coordinator of cell will forward their report in the sealed envelop to the principal within one week from the date of the receipt of complaint

Minority Cell

As Per the requirement of AICTE regarding formation of MinorityCommittee at our institute.

The constituted committee for MINORITY cell as follows,

The Minority cell will monitor and endeavor to resolve issues/grievances relating to Minority students and staff at the institute level. The complaint if any will be forwarded to said cell by the principal. The cell will look in to the complaint and call the complainant personally for hearing the grievance.

The coordinator of cell will forward their report in the sealed envelope to the principal within one week from the date of the receipt of complaint.
