The academic monitoring is done by a team of students and teachers that works as a “Program Committee”. The constitution of this committee is as per PCI (Pharmacy Council of India). The responsibilities of the Program Committee are
1. To periodically review the progress of the class.
2. Discuss the problems concerning the curriculum, syllabus, and conduct of classes.
3. To discuss the nature and scope of assessments that shall then be announced to the class at the beginning of the semester.

Mechanism Women of Grievance Redressal Cell
1] Considering broadly, grievances may be of two types,
i) Academic: related to attendance, charging of fees, assessment, conduct of examination, syllabus completion, teaching methodologies etc.
ii) Non-academic: harassment by colleague, peer pressure, classroom management, facilities available and its utilization etc.
2] It has been decided to keep grievance redressal box in front of administrative office.
3] The grievance redressal box is opened every month to collect and resolve the complaints. The complaints may be written or communicated through online portal.
4] The complainants shall be summoned to hear the complaints if required.
5] After hearing the complaints the committee shall take appropriate and amicable decision and subsequently the decision is communicated to complainant.
6] If the complainant is not satisfied with the decision of the committee, then complainant can make appeal before the chairman of management.
7] All the decisions taken by the committee will be rational and amicable to resolve the complaints of the aggrieved.
8] If the complaint is of serious nature and beyond the ambit of the committee then decision will be taken to forward the complaints before the competent authority.

The complaint if any will be forwarded to said cell by the principal. The cell will look in to the complaint and call the complainant personally for hearing the grievance.

• The Chairman of the IPR CELL shall have the power to call a meeting of the Intellectual Property right committee.

Objectives:

  • To absolutely prohibit ragging within or outside the college campus
  • To prevent the occurrence of ragging by following anti ragging measures in the institution.
  • To provide punishment to those indulging in ragging as per the guidelines.
  • To sensitize students, staff and parents to adopt measures that will prevent ragging.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • To monitor and oversee the performance of the Anti-Ragging Squad in prevention of ragging in the college.
  • During the first three months of an academic year, the Head of college shall submit a weekly report on the status of compliance with Anti-Ragging measures under UGC Regulations, and a monthly report on such status.
  • The Anti-Ragging Committee of the college shall take an appropriate decision, with regard to punishment or otherwise, depending on the facts of each incident of ragging and nature and gravity of the incident of ragging.
  • To prevent or to act promptly against the occurrence of ragging or any incident of ragging which comes to their notice.

Objectives of the Cell:

5. The Cell shall eliminate discrimination against or harassment of any individual in all forms by prohibiting it and by providing preventive and protective measures to facilitate its eradication and punishments for those who indulge in any form of discrimination or harassment.
